EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Marcus Still (New Mexico State) set the Stingers' franchise record with 36 stolen bases on the year in tonight's 11-4 loss for the Stingers in Eau Claire. 

In the eighth inning, he led off with a walk and immediately stole second base to set the new record with 35. Moments later, he swiped third base as well to achieve his 36th.

In addition to Still stealing two bases, Josh Bissonette (Baylor) led the Stingers at the plate with three hits. He now has a four game hit streak.

The league record for stolen bases in a single season is 50, and the Stingers have 12 games remaining.

The Stingers move to 15-9 on the second half and 33-27 overall. They drop one game in the North Division standings as Mankato won earlier this afternoon.

The Stingers return home tomorrow to host the St. Cloud Rox in the first of a two-game set. Luke Chevalier (Northern State) will be on the mound.
