Waterloo, Iowa- The error bug continued to plague the Willmar Stingers on Saturday in their first road game of the season against the Waterloo Bucks falling 8-4.

After committing three errors on Thursday against Thunder Bay, the Stingers committed four on Saturday against Waterloo.

The Bucks capitalized scoring three in the third and four in the sixth.

The loss was charged to Stingers’ starter Dylan Oliver (Alabama) who lasted five innings giving up four runs, only one of them being earned.

Offensively Willmar only mustered eight hits, none of which were for extra bases. The biggest number of the game however was ten. Willmar left 10 runners on base throughout the game unable to capitalize on key opportunities throughout.

In the ninth trailing by seven the Stingers showed some life scoring three runs but in the end the late push was to no avail as Willmar lost the game 8-4.

The Stingers are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2:05 p.m to finish their series with the Bucks.
