Tuesday’s game postponed due to unplayable field conditions
Willmar, Minn.- Tonight’s Willmar Stingers game versus the Eau Claire Express has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Bill Taunton Stadium. Thunderstorms overnight and in the morning left standing water throughout the infield and outfield grass. The City of Willmar grounds crew worked on the field throughout the day, however standing water still remains and it has been determined that the playing surface is unplayable.
The Steven Brault Youth Jersey Giveaway Night presented by Cash Wise Foods will be rescheduled for the 7:05 game on Wednesday, August 1st against the Duluth Huskies (gates open at 6:05). Fans who had tickets to tonight’s game can exchange them in the Stingers Ticket Office for any regular season home game during the rest of the 2018 season based on ticket availability.
