Mankato, Minn.- Tuesday night the Stingers faced the Mankato MoonDogs in game two of a two game set. Early offense was not enough as the Stingers fell 11-4.

In the second inning Willmar jumped out to an early 4-0 lead. In the inning it was the bottom of the Willmar lineup doing damage. Caleb Ricca (Northwestern St), Davis Elliot (North Alabama), Jaxon Hallmark (Nebraska) and leadoff man Matt Rudick (San Diego St) all had RBIs in the inning.

The MoonDogs retaliated to the Stingers four spot putting up 11 unanswered runs throughout the remainder of the game.

The Stingers now look forward to a double header on Wednesday against the first place Duluth Huskies. Duluth currently holds a two game lead in the north over the Stingers.
