Waterloo, Iowa – The Bucks bounce back and beat the Stingers Wednesday night, 4-3.

Willmar got on the board in the second inning on a fielder’s choice by Carter Howell. Waterloo subsequently took the lead in the bottom half of the inning on a sacrifice fly by Tristan Gomes and a wild pitch thrown by Duke Coborn.

The Stingers tied it in the third on a Derek Hackman sac fly which scored Drey Dirksen. They then took a 3-2 lead in the fifth when Drey Dirksen reached on an error by third baseman Dalton Chandler, and Grant Kerry scored on the play. The Bucks evened the score on an RBI double by Joshua Kasevich in the bottom of the inning.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Bucks took the lead, when Mike Campagna scored on a bases loaded walk. They held on to that lead the final three innings of the ballgame.

The Stingers are back home Thursday through Sunday. In the first leg, they host the St. Cloud Rox for two games. Thursday’s first pitch from The Beehive is 7:05 p.m.
