Willmar, MN- The 2022 season is right around the corner as the Stingers added Will Roguske and Jack Zigan to the roster this week. Both Roguske and Zigan played for the Stingers in 2021.

Will Roguske is a native of Spicer, MN and went to New London-Spicer High School He played 6 years on the varsity baseball team starting when Will was in 7th grade. Roguske was the first ever middle schooler to record a varsity playoff win in school history. He holds the school record for most career strikeouts, most hits, and most consecutive games started for New London-Spicer. Will is currently a redshirt sophomore at Illinois State University. Last year for the Stingers, Roguske made 6 appearances striking out 9 in 6.1 innings of work.

Jack Zigan is a junior at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He is a native of Eden Prairie, MN. This year at MSU-Mankato, Zigan has thrown 8 innings striking out 11 batters. In 2021 with the Stingers, Zigan appeared in 7 games pitching 33 innings. He struck out 40 batters and had a 1.18 WHIP.

The Stingers open their season on May 30th in Rochester against the Honkers. The home opener is Wednesday, June 1st against the Eau Claire Express.
