WILLMAR, MN – The Willmar Stingers swept the Duluth Huskies tonight, 3-2.

Jack Habeck stole the show throwing the second complete game of the Northwoods League Season. For his outstanding performance on the mound, Habeck was named the MinnWest Technology Campus Player of the Game.

For the second game in a row, The Huskies would jump out to an early lead when the Duluth’s Noah Marcelo hit an RBI single in the second. The Stingers would respond in the bottom of the third when Zac Corbin and Scott Anderson were both able to send runs across home plate. The Huskies would go on and score in the top of the fifth to tie the game at 2-2.
