The Willmar Stingers (12-2) have won three of the last five games at Bill Taunton Stadium and will face the Bismarck Larks (8-8) for a two game series on June 14 and June 15.
Earlier in the year, the Stingers swept the Larks by scores of 16-5 and 5-2 at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
For Willmar, the player to watch will be catcher Graysen Tarlow. The Cal State Northridge product has gone 5 for 11 in three games and has a .455 batting average. Tarlow started 47 games for Matadors during the 2023 season.
For the Larks, the player to watch will be Benjamin Rosengard. The Rice University product has batted a .370 and drove in 13 runs through 46 AB’s. Rosengard played for the Eau Claire Express last season where he posted a .243 batting average and collected 24 RBI’s in 49 total games in the Northwoods League.
Stingers fans will see Ray Cebulski. In two starts, Cebulski has posted a 0.87 ERA with 11 strikeouts and two free passes.
Larks fans will see Brooks Byers. In two games, Byers has a 9.53 ERA with three strikeouts and has allowed only one free pass.
Both games will be played at 7:05 (Bill Taunton Stadium)
