The Willmar Stingers (14-2) swept the Bismarck Larks last night and look to carry the momentum as the Mankato Moondogs (9-9) travel to Bill Taunton Stadium for a two game weekend series.

For the Stingers, Gabe Swansen will be the player to watch in tonight’s contest. Swansen, the Nebraska product, was named MinnWest Technology Campus Player of the game in last night’s contest. Swansen is batting .467 and has seven hits this season.

On the hill, Ryan Wiltse will get the nod as he has posted a 5.87 ERA with seven strikeouts. Wiltse will look to replicate his last outing at Riverfront field in Waterloo.

For Mankato, Dustin Crenshaw (Grand Canyon University) has continued his terror at the plate hitting .467 and tallying 12 hits in nine games.

First Pitch will be at 7:05. Game 2 will be at 5:05 tomorrow night (Bill Taunton Stadium)
