Mark it down in the history books: June 3rd, 2010. The Willmar Stingers will make their Northwoods League debut tonight!  Led by Field Manager Matt Hollod, the Stingers will take on the St. Cloud River Bats Thursday at 7:05 to kickoff their inaugural campaign.  Made up of top college players from across the country, the Stingers will provide family fun and great baseball action all summer long!

For the season and franchise opening game, the Stingers welcome Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Paul Molitor.  The former Twins great and member of the 3,000 hit club will throw out the first pitch and be available for photos and autographs leading up to the start of the game.  After the final out, fans are invited to stick around for a postgame fireworks extravaganza!
