Another Stinger was taken off the draft boards as catcher Graysen Tarlow was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals with pick No. 575 of the 2023 MLB Draft.

Tarlow is the first 2023 Stinger off the board as he played a big part in a Great Plains West first half championship.

In those 18 games, Tarlow hit for an impressive .359 average with three home runs and 15 RBI.

Tarlow also served as one of the hottest bats for the Stingers in 2022, finishing with a .455 average and 18 RBI in his 14 games.

Playing collegiately at California State University Northridge where he compiled a .311 average and 41 RBI as a redshirt sophomore.

Tarlow now looks to begin his professional career with the Cardinals in the hopes that he can one day fill the St. Louis backstop role once held by Yadier Molina.
