Willmar, MN – The Willmar Stingers announced today that the team has added Walker Regier as the General Manager of the organization.
Regier’s journey with the Stingers began as an operations intern in 2019. He then went on to work for the Mankato MoonDogs & Habaneros for the next 7 years in a variety of positions most recently serving as the General Manager for both teams.
A 2020 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Sport Management. Regier is originally from Mt. Lake, MN.
As General Manager, Regier will oversee all facets of the organization, including business operations, community partnerships, fan engagement, and game day execution.
“I’m excited for the opportunity,” Regier said. “Back in 2019, I got my start in the Northwoods League working for the Stingers. I’m happy to be back and would like to thank the team ownership for giving me the opportunity. I look forward to working with our partners in the community and getting to know the Stingers fanbase that makes this one of the best places in the league.”
The Willmar Stingers will celebrate their 18th season in the Northwoods League in 2027; full season and half-season plans are available.
