Single game tickets to go on-sale Thursday, July 23rd 10 am  

WILLMAR, MN – The Willmar Stingers have announced that 2015 playoff tickets will go on-sale Thursday, July 23rd at 10 am. The 2015 season is already one for the record books as the Stingers won the First Half in the North Division to secure a playoff spot for the third-time in franchise history.

The Stingers are guaranteed to play Game 1 of the North Division Playoffs at home on Monday, August 10th. Tickets for this game can be purchased online via www.willmarstingers.com, by calling 320-222-2010, or visiting the Stingers ticket office located at Bill Taunton Stadium from 10 am – 5 pm.

The Northwoods League announced a new playoff format for this season that will increase the teams participating in the playoffs from four to eight. The two division winners will face the next two teams with the best overall records in their respective divisions.

Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th are both single-elimination games in the Divisional Series, with the winners moving on to the best of three Summer Collegiate World Series.
