The Stingers, an affiliate of the Northwoods League, offer interns the opportunity to work hands-on with the team in an exciting, fast paced environment. In addition to learning about daily operations, including customer relations, communication, ticket sales, and apparel sales, our interns are given the opportunity to specialize in their field of study. The Stingers offer internship positions in marketing, event management, media relations, and video production.
The Stingers season is a fun-filled 72-game schedule that includes 36 home games at Bill Taunton Stadium, Northwoods League All-Star Game and possible home playoff games. Each one of these home games are broadcast live on Northwoods League Plus or ESPN+. The paid internship (housing provided) will begin in early May and run until the middle of August, depending on the playoff situation. Self-motivation, strong communication skills, an energetic attitude and the ability to work well under pressure are a must.
