We would like to welcome you as the newest member of the Willmar Stingers organization. It is our goal to give you the best baseball experience possible and have you treasure your summer in Willmar, MN. In exchange for giving you a great experience, we need a commitment from you as a player. We have also explained these expectations with your coaches and they are on the same page. Communication is key and we would like to have a phone call with you before the start of the season. 

Please read the following, and if you agree, which we hope you do, please then e-sign the document and hit the submit button at the bottom of the Host Family Questionnaire.

• I am aware that the Northwoods League baseball season runs from Memorial Day through the middle of August.

• I am making a commitment to the Willmar Stingers for this entire time and will fulfill my commitment by being available for all 72-regular season games and potential Northwoods League playoffs.

• I recognize that player report date is the week of before Memorial Day and commit to reporting on time. If my college team is still playing at this time, I commit to reporting ASAP prior to the season opener on Memorial Day. If my college team is still playing at this time in a regional and/or World Series, I commit to reporting to the Stingers no later than four days after the completion of our final collegiate game of season (for example: If my last collegiate game of the season ends on a Saturday, I will report to the Stingers on a Wednesday).

• I understand there will be no exceptions to this rule and my failure to not follow the reporting requirements is grounds for termination of my contract.

• Lastly, but ultimately the greatest commitment, I commit to represent the Stingers brand well in the community and recognize that any bad behavior or poor representation in the community is grounds for automatic termination of my contract.

The Stingers have had over 150+ players go on and play professionally the past 15-years with 15 former players donning a major-league uniform. The team’s goal is to have a professional run organization on and off the field, while also honing the skills of the players for the next level.
