Mankato, MN – The Mankato MoonDogs will be presenting the first ever Wingfest & Brew at Franklin Rogers Park on August 27th, to benefit MRCI.

The event will begin that Saturday at 4 p.m. and will end at 8:00 p.m. featuring food from all over Southern Minnesota competing for the best wings in the area.
There will also be live musical entertainment from the popular band, IV Play from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

There will be a Beer Garden as well as a Kids Zone, so guests of all ages can have a fun time while enjoying some of Southern Minnesota’s best food. Guests will have a chance to vote on the “Best Boneless Wings,” “Best Bone-In Wings,” and the “Overall People’s Choice” categories, so you get to choose who has the best wings in Mankato! At 7 p.m. there will be a Mankato Celebrity Judge category that takes place.

Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the event for $20 with proceeds going to support the local non-profit, MRCI Worksource and the Mankato MoonDogs.
