Tyler Kuch (General Manager – tyler@mankatomoondogs.com) is in the midst of his fourth season as the General Manager of the Mankato MoonDogs, but eighth season with the organization.   A Minnesota State University-Mankato alum, Kuch earned a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing during his time as a Maverick.  He served as an intern for the Pittsfield (Mass.) Suns of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League back in 2012-2013, and also interned for the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association in Colorado Springs, Colo. during the off-season of 2013-2014.  Kuch, whose relationship with the MoonDogs (formerly the Mashers) dates back to 2000 when his family served as a host family.

Walker Regier (Assistant General Manager – walker@mankatomoondogs.com) will begin his sixth season in the Northwoods League. This is his fifth year with the MoonDogs and his second as the Assistant General Manager. Walker graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and in 2022 with a master’s degree in Sport Management. He previously served as an operations intern for the Willmar Stingers in 2019.

Chris Goodell (Team President) will conduct his 27th season in the Northwoods League in 2024, having spent time with both the Waterloo Bucks and the La Crosse Loggers.  Goodell, who currently serves as the team president of the Loggers, Mankato MoonDogs, and the Rochester Honkers, served as the general manager of the Loggers from their inaugural season of 2003 through the 2018 season, helping build a stadium and team that is one of the top drawing teams in all of summer collegiate baseball.  Goodell was honored as the Northwoods League Executive of the Year on two occasions, in 2004 and in 2012, and was recognized as the La Crosse Tribune’s Sports Person of the Year in 2009 and 2012.


Ben Kapanke (Vice President, CFO) begins his 22nd season in the Northwoods League and his fourth year as the general manager of the La Crosse Loggers after serving the previous ten years as the assistant general manager.  Kapanke, who also holds the title of vice president/CFO of the Loggers, MoonDogs, and now the Honkers, oversees the concession operations as well as the team’s finances for all three clubs while leading the Loggers day-to-day operations.  Kapanke got his introduction to the Northwoods League in 2002 when he served as an umpire after attending the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring.
