Good pitching, timely hitting and sound defense. That’s the expectation of an All-Star Game, and the 19th Annual Northwoods League All-Star game lived up to the billing as the North All-Stars defeated the South All-Stars 7-5 in front of 2,789 fans at Carson Park in Eau Claire, home of the Express.
Rochester, Minn (July 21st, 2013)--The final night before the All Star break was good for road teams. Of the seven games that were played, the road teams won six. Teams will now have a pair of days to recover as they prepare for the stretch run at the end of the season.

Battle Creek, Mich (July 20th, 2013)--The Eau Claire Express got an outstanding performance on the mound on Saturday as they cruised to victory over the Battle Creek Bombers.
Rochester, Minn (July 20th, 2013)--The Waterloo Bucks continue to rip up the Northwoods League, and they had another big night on Saturday. Behind an 11-run second inning, they dominated the Honkers for the win.
The Northwoods League and the Eau Claire Express announced Friday the eight sluggers participating in the crowd-pleasing Marshfield Clinic Home Run Derby that will take place on Tuesday July 23 at 6:00 p.m. at Eau Claire’s Carson Park. The event will take place right before the 19th annual Northwoods League All-Star Game at 7:35 p.m.
