The Wisconsin Woodchucks have strengthened their middle infield with the recent signings of infielders Joey Hainsfurther and Kale Kiser. Hainsfurther and Kiser are true freshmen at Baylor University and the University of Nebraska, respectively.
Eau Claire Express field manager Dale Varsho announced three more commitments for his 2009 roster. Iowa Central outfielder Erik Knutson returns from last year and is joined outfielder Bobby Rinard and pitcher Ian Campbell, both from Yavapai. The three sophomores bring the Express roster to 11.

The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Drew Beuerlein, a 6 foot, 195-pound junior catcher from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).
University of North Florida red-shirt freshman pitcher Andrew Karmeris has signed with the Madison Mallards and comes from a program with strong ties to the Northwoods League. UNF Assistant Coach Greg Labbe, who managed the Rochester Honkers from 2005-07 ranks sixth all-time in NWL regular season wins with 144 (placing him only seven victories behind Mallards Field Manager C.J. Thieleke), figures to have a huge role in Karmeris’ transition to Madison this summer.

Robbins, a 6'0", 180-pound sophomore, recently signed a letter of intent to continue his collegiate baseball career with Dallas Baptist. Robbins will join fellow Bucks' infielder Ryan Goins on the Dallas Baptist roster in the fall of 2009.
