(Duluth, MN) — Former Huskies catcher Connor Joe stood out on the field this year, and it's now up to the fans to decide how he will be rewarded. After being named the 2014 West Coast Conference Player of the Year, Joe is 1 of 21 semifinalists up for the national Golden Spikes Award, which is awarded to the best amateur player in the country. 

Joe played in Duluth in 2012, hitting at a .295 clip with three home runs, 24 RBI, and 15 doubles. He primarily played first base at the University of San Diego during the 2014 season.
