(Duluth, MN) — After the Huskies won the game with a big 8th inning last night, the Green Bay Bullfrogs took their turn, putting up three runs in the eight to secure a 6-3 win at Wade Stadium.

Once again, the Huskies received a good start from RHP Dylan Barrow.  After striking out 10 in his last outing, he tallied six punch-outs in four innings of work, while allowing only three hits and one earned run.  Huskies offense had seven total hits; the biggest coming from C Mac James, (Oklahoma) who hit his first home run of the season in the first inning.  Alex Greene added two more hits to his total and Chase Kiefer scored twice off one hit.

The Huskies will travel to Willmar tomorrow for a two game set, starting at 7:05pm.  Friday the 6th will see the Huskies back at The Wade with a 6:35 starting time.

The Duluth Huskies are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
