(Duluth, MN) — Huskies LHP Alex Winkleman gave one of the teams’ best performances of the season, and the offense did the rest as the Huskies cruised to a 7-2 victory over Rochester in the second and final game of the home stand and series.

Winkleman (SE Mo St) worked six complete innings, giving up one run on five hits and tallying 11 strikeouts, a season high for Huskies pitchers.  Vinny Rodriguez got the offense going early with a two run blast over the right field wall, hit first of the season.  Alex Greene added two more hits and two runs to his recent hot streak, Keach Ballard had a hit and two RBI, Dom Brugnoni tacked on two hits and an RBI.

The Huskies will travel to Wisconsin Rapids to take on the Rafters for a two game set before returning to Duluth on the 10th.
