(Duluth, MN) — Pitching was not at a premium on Wednesday night at Wade Stadium, and the Huskies once again lost an early lead.  27 hits between the Huskies and Border Cats led to a back and forth battle that ended with a 10-8 Thunder Bay win.

Keach Ballard led the offense with two hits, three RBI, and two runs scored.  Trent Chatterton had three hits and scored two runs, Dom Brugnoni had two hits and an RBI, and Dominic Miroglio had two hits and scored twice out of the eighth spot.  AJ McElderry provided two scoreless innings in an otherwise poor night on the mound for Huskies pitchers.

The final series of the home stand begins tomorrow night at 6:35pm against the Waterloo Bucks.

The Duluth Huskies are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
