The Duluth Huskies are excited to announce the opening of a Harley’s Hut inside Globe News located in Superior, Wisconsin. Globe News will now carry Duluth Huskies apparel items and sell grandstand general admission tickets for the 2015 season during their business hours. They are located at 1430 Tower Ave and open seven days a week. Globe News is open Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm, weekend hours are 8am-4pm.

The Huskies will kick off their 2015 season with Opening Night presented by the Duluth Building and Construction Trades Council on May 27th beginning at 5:00pm with the band Big Wave Dave and the Ripples entertaining fans in the new Wade Plaza located down the third base line prior to first pitch against the Willmar Stingers at 7:05pm. A Fireworks show will complete the evening. Ticket Packages are available by calling 218-786-9909. A big crowd is expected so get your tickets early. Single Game tickets will be available in late April.

 

The Duluth Huskies are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (BOS) and Ben Zobrist (OAK).
