The Duluth Huskies (4-6) traded runs early but pulled away in the second half of the game to beat the St Cloud Rox 10-4.

The Rox got the scoring started in the second inning when Reese Gregory knocked in both Kyle Serrano and Marcus Carson on a base knock. The Huskies wasted little time tying the game. In the bottom half of the third inning, Dominic Miroglio hit a 2-RBI single to tie the game. Scoring would heat up in the 5th when the two teams would combine for five runs and five hits. The Huskies would pull away in the 6th when Justin Paulsen and Jimmy Heck both hit RBI singles. Duluth kept the runs coming in the 7th with five hits and three more runs. The home team was anchored by first baseman Justin Paulsen as he went 4 for 5 at the plate, scoring four runs and hitting in three.

Huskies starting pitcher Bo Hellquist would earn the win on the night after pitching 6.1 innings while striking out one. Andrew Clemen, Rox starting pitcher, would be tagged with the loss. Clemens would allow five runs on seven hits through five innings of work.

The Huskies are back in action tomorrow night at Wade Stadium against the Wisconsin Woodchucks at 6:35.
