The Duluth Huskies Baseball Club is pleased to announce Eric Lichtenberg as the winner of the contest to design a patch to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Wade Stadium. Eric earned his B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2005 and currently works as a graphic designer for a Minneapolis agency.  A fan of all sports, Eric considers himself a “super fan” of any Minnesota team. During his last year at UMD Eric worked concessions and as a ticket taker for the Duluth Huskies! Eric currently resides in the Twin Cities area with his wife and 2-month-old son.

The Duluth Huskies will be celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Wade Stadium on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Eric Lichtenberg will be in attendance with family and friends to throw out the first pitch, while the Huskies team will wear throwback Duluth Dukes jerseys adorned with Eric’s patch design.  Please join us in celebrating our beautiful ballpark’s 75th birthday!

The Duluth Huskies would like to thank all participants for submitting their designs as well as our panel of judges:
