The Duluth Huskies add three more to the roster as the 2016 draws closer. INF Justin Ambrosino (West Florida), OF Reid Long (Troy), and C/INF Zachary Orchard (Florida Gulf Coast) will spend their summer at Wade Stadium.

Justin Ambrosino, a Brandon, FL native, is currently competing in his junior season with the Argonauts. The infielder has played in 48 games, starting in each one. Ambrosino’s .361 batting average is the best among regular starters while his 9 doubles is good for second on the squad. He has also collected 26 RBIs and crossed the plate 30 times this season. Before West Florida, Justin spent the two previous seasons with the College of Central Florida.

Reid Long, a Marianna, FL native, is participating in his second season with Troy. The sophomore has played in 14 games (all starts) for the Trojans and has hit 5 doubles while collecting 13 RBIs. As a freshman, Long was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American. Prior to college, Reid was a four-year MVP at Marianna High School while also picking up Perfect Game All-American honors.

Zachary Orchard splits his time between multiple positions at Florida Gulf Coast University. The Cambridge, Ontario native has made 14 appearances for the Eagles and has made the most of his at-bats. Orchard has maintained a .533 batting average (8 for 15) while hitting three doubles and collecting 7 RBIs. Zach started his collegiate career with a six-game hit streak during his freshman year at FGCU.

The Huskies open the 2016 season on the road and return to Wade Stadium on Saturday, June 4th for their home opener against the Mankato MoonDogs.
