The Duluth Huskies announced today the signing of UCLA teammates OF Daniel Amaral and RHP Nathan Hadley to the roster for the 2016 season.

Daniel Amaral, a native of Huntington Beach, CA, is an outfielder competing in his freshman season with the Bruins. Amaral has appeared in 24 games, starting in 9 of them. In 36 plate appearances, he has collected 5 hits, 4 walks, and 2 RBIs. Amaral has also crossed the plate for 9 runs so far this season. Before his freshman year at UCLA, Daniel spent the summer of 2015 with the Wenatchee AppleSox of the West Coast League.

Nathan Hadley, a native of Los Angeles, CA, is a redshirt freshman for the Bruins. Hadley has appeared in 21 games so far this season, all in relief. Over 20.2 innings of work, he has struck out 22 batters while only walking 8. During the summer of 2014, Nate played for the Wenatchee AppleSox of the West Coast League.

The Huskies open the 2016 season on the road and return to Wade Stadium on Saturday, June 4th for their home opener against the Mankato MoonDogs.
