A pair of University of Southern California freshmen, infielder Dillon Paulson and left-handed pitcher Quentin Longrie, will be spending their summer at Wade Stadium—both players’ first Northwoods League Season.

Paulson, a left-hand hitting first baseman from San Marcos, Calif., has split time at first base at USC, compiling a .200 batting average with 3 doubles in 100 at bats. In his junior and senior seasons at Santa Fe Christian High School, he was named Coastal League MVP and First Team All-CIF San Diego Section. 

Longrie, a lefty from Mission Viejo, Calif. has made 4 appearances for the Trojans and has a 3.60 ERA over 5 innings with opponents hitting .118 against him. He was a four-year varsity player at JSerra Catholic High School and was named the Trinity League Pitcher of the Year and a Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American as a 2015 senior.
