The Duluth Huskies (4-5) lost to the Waterloo Bucks (7-2) Wednesday night after only 5 innings of play.

The Bucks wasted no time getting to work starting in the bottom of the 1st with a 2-run homer from Adam McGinnis. The Huskies started their comeback in the top of the 5th with Dillion Paulson scoring. Lightning strikes delayed the game in the middle of the 5th. After about a 3 hour delay, the umpires ended the game with a final score of 2-1.

Logan Browning received the loss after tossing 4.0 innings with 3 hits, 2 runs, 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts.  Jordan Accetta earns the win after pitching 5.0 innings with 2 hits, 1 run, 4 walks, and 3 strikeouts.

The Huskies and the Bucks will face each other again Thursday night to finish the series. The Huskies will be back at home Friday to face the Willmar Stingers for Robotics night gates open at 5:35 with the first pitch set for 6:35.
