The Duluth Huskies (7-7) lost to the St. Cloud Rox (8-6) on Monday.

After beating the Rox in 11 innings on Sunday, the Huskies returned to home to face St. Cloud in Duluth. The outcome of the game would not be the same however. The Huskies were out-hit 8-17 and lost by a score of 3-12. Martin Alcoverde took the mound for the Huskies and received the loss after pitching 3 innings allowing 8 runs on 9 hits. He would be replaced by Jake Turner. Turner pitched 4.2 innings and allowed 4 runs on 8 hits. Kevin Stocke completed the game by pitching 1.1 innings allowing 0 runs on 0 hits. Although the Huskies pitching was not stellar, their defense was strong despite 2 errors.
