The Duluth Huskies (7-7) lost to the St. Cloud Rox (8-6) on Monday.

After beating the Rox in 11 innings on Sunday, the Huskies returned to home to face St. Cloud in Duluth. The outcome of the game would not be the same however. The Huskies were out-hit 8-17 and lost by a score of 3-12. Martin Alcoverde took the mound for the Huskies and received the loss after pitching 3 innings allowing 8 runs on 9 hits. He would be replaced by Jake Turner. Turner pitched 4.2 innings and allowed 4 runs on 8 hits. Kevin Stocke completed the game by pitching 1.1 innings allowing 0 runs on 0 hits. Although the Huskies pitching was not stellar, their defense was strong despite 2 errors. Daniel Gardner made a couple nice plays in center field including a sliding catch to minimize the damage brought on by St. Cloud.

Some stars for the Huskies include Daniel Gardner who went 2-4 with an RBI, Zac Orchard who went 1-3 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored, and Dillon Paulson who went 1-2 with 2 walks.
