Huskies Fall Short Against MoonDogs

Ryan Tapani and Ricky Digrugilliers were locked in a pitcher’s duel through six innings with the MoonDogs only run coming on a double from Alvaro Rubalcaba. The Huskies were kept off the board until the sixth, when Logan Browning scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Reid Long. Mankato rallied again to start the seventh with a walk, a hit by pitch, and a single, leading to two more Mankato runs. The MoonDogs added one more in the eighth, and the Huskies were kept off the board the rest of the game.

He was relieved by Wade Regas, followed by Alex Ferguson, who pitched the final two innings, allowing one run.
