Join us on Tuesday, August 2nd, for a great night with great animals! The Lake Superior Zoomobile is coming to Wade Stadium for Duluth Zoo Night, and you do not want to miss it. You will have the opportunity for one-on-one learning with the educators while meeting several program animals and watching your Duluth Huskies take on the Rochester Honkers.

 

After you visit the animals at Wade Stadium, head on down to the Lake Superior Zoo for these fun events!

Wednesday Nights on the Wild Side

All through the month of August, the zoo will be open until 7:30 pm on Wednesday nights!!  You don’t have to cook dinner… Call ahead and order your Family Picnic Pack and enjoy a quiet family dinner alongside your favorite animals.   Each week, special animal presentations will get you up close and personal with featured animals.  Wednesday Night on the Wild Side – open till 7:30 every Wednesday in August.

 

Run Like an Animal

                The Zoo’s annual 5k trail run is THIS SATURDAY, August 6!  It’s not too late to sign up for this  FUN run, so dress up as your favorite animal and join the crowd running through the zoo and out on the beautiful Kingsbury Creek Trail system.   Prizes for the best race times and best costume!!  We’ll have a FREE kids run after the race, and everyone is invited to PARTY LIKE AN ANIMAL in the zoo after the awards presentation!  Register TODAY, online or in person at the zoo.

Halloween is right around the corner….. and that means Boo at the Zoo!  Dress up the kids and come trick-or-treating while you ‘do the zoo’!  Games, delicious food, hay rides, music and FUN FUN FUN are the order of the day, and kids of all ages can enter our costume contests to win awesome prizes!  Tickets go on sale at the zoo and online in September – buy early and SAVE!  Boo at the Zoo, October 15 and 22, at the Lake Superior Zoo.  It’ll be a SCREAMING good time!!
