The Duluth Huskies (24-32) fell to the La Crosse Loggers (27-28) Saturday night at Copeland Park in La Crosse.

The Loggers jumped off to an early start in the bottom of the 1st scoring on a sacrifice fly from Grant Fennell. They added to their lead in the bottom of the 4th scoring on a single from Nick Schranck. The Huskies scored on a single from Jake Pries to put Casey Moses across home plate for the first run of the game for the Huskies. The Loggers responded quickly scoring 2 in the bottom of the 5th on singles from Ceser Salazar and Gavin Johns. The scoring for the Loggers continued in the bottom of the 7th scoring another 2 on singles from Schranck and Mason McCoy. The Huskies were never able to recover, leaving the score 6-1 in favor of the Loggers.

Henry DeCaster received the loss tonight after tossing 4.1 innings allowing 6 hits, 4 runs, 4 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Drew Mullinax came in as relief, tossing 2.1 innings allowing 4 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Nick Raquet receives the win for the Loggers after tossing 5.1 innings allowing 4 hits with 1 run, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Jared Liebelt earns the save after tossing 3.2 innings with 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts.

The Huskies will face the La Crosse Loggers for the final time of the regular season Sunday night before heading to Thunder Bay for a double header Monday. The Huskies will return home Tuesday to face the Rochester Honkers for Duluth Zoo Night.
