The Duluth Huskies (30-42) fall to the Eau Claire Express (45-27) during the season finale for the Huskies.

The Huskies jumped to an early lead, with a solo shot from Matt Brown in the top of the 2nd, to put the Huskies ahead. The Express bounced back quickly scoring 1 in the bottom of the 2nd on a single from Alex McKenna to tie it at 1. Then in the top of the 4th, the Huskies took back the lead with another solo shot, making the score 2-1. Daulton Varsho added to his homerun number with another shot in the bottom of the 5th to tie the game again, but this time at 2. Eau Claire took the lead in the bottom of the 6th with a single from Zach Ashford. Carter Hanford helped the Huskies tie the game once again in the top of the 7th with a nice single. Fort the second night in a row, Dillion Paulson hit a massive homerun to score 1 and take the lead 4-3. McKenna hit a double in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game at 4, sending us in to extras. With the 10th inning, the Express made quick work of the Huskies in the top of the inning, in the bottom is where they broke through. They score on a single from Kyle Marinconz to put Cody Bohanek across home for the win.

Starter for the Huskies, Ryan Tapani, tossed 5.2 innings with 5 hits, 3 runs, 3 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Drew Mullinax receives the loss after tossing 1.0 inning allowing 4 hits with1 run, 0 walks, and 1 strikeout. Caleb Willems was the starter for the Express and he tossed 5.0 innings allowing 6 hits with 2 runs, 2 walks, and 0 strikeouts. Nick Davito earns the win after tossing 4.0 innings with 1 run, 1 walk, and 3 stikeouts.
