The Duluth Huskies came into Fridays game tied for first in the north division. However, that meant nothing to the Waterloo Bucks who came to play. The Bucks scored first and often posting seven runs in just the first two innings.

Bucks third baseman, Zach Mallis hit his second home run of the year, second of the series to be exact and gave the bucks the bats they needed. Mallis later added a double in the night and the Bucks added four more runs. The final was 11-1.

Ryan Losman receives the los for the Huskies after tossing 5 innings  and allowing 8 hits. While Nate Walker earns the win for the Bucks after tossing 5 innings, allowing only 1 hit with 5 strikeouts.

The Huskies now sit at a record of 3-1 as they make their way back to Wade Stadium to take on the Wilmar Stingers tomorrow night part of the home opener of the 2017 season. The home opener marks the first of 12 home games in 11 days for the Huskies.
