For the second straight muggy night at Wade Stadium the Huskies came from behind and capitalized in the sixth inning. Starting pitcher Nick Scheidler (UCLA) ran into some troubles early in the second. The Larks scored four runs to take an early lead before Scheidler found his groove and finished through four innings with seven strikeouts. The relief staff was excellent following outings of Ricky Mitchell (Morningside), Joe Gonrowski (St. Scholastica), and Tre Brown (San Diego St).

Playing from behind the Huskies got the bats rolling in the fourth inning slowly working back into the game adding eight runs in five innings to put up ten runs in a game for the first time since early June. The hot bats of Isaac Collins (Creighton), who had three hits on the night, and Luke Roskam (Nebraska), was three for five and a huge homerun in the 7th inning were the key to this come from behind victory. The Huskies finished with 15 hits on the evening and improve to 2-0 in the second half of the season.

The Huskies now travel to LaCrosse tomorrow to take on the Loggers. They will play two games at Copeland Park Friday (7/7) and Saturday (7/8) before returning home to split a home and home with the Eau Claire Express.
