Duluth, Minn —  The Duluth Huskies Baseball Club awarded Duluth Girls Fast Pitch with the Northwoods League Foundation’s ‘Share the Glove’ grant. This special grant includes approximately $2500 in Rawlings Youth softball equipment including softballs, two catchers mitts, six bats ranging in a variety of sizes, two sets of catchers gear, eight batting helmets, eight right-handed gloves, and two left-handed gloves.

“The Share the Glove program struck a powerful chord last year, impacting thousands of kids across the region,” said Gary Hoover, Northwoods League Foundation Secretary. “Youth sports participation plays an important role in developing character and strong communities, and we are proud to once again support local organizations that promote these activities.”

Duluth Girls Fastpitch will also be recognized on the field at a Duluth Huskies home game as part of their achievement.
