Lance Ford returns to the Huskies for another great season

Duluth, Minn — The Duluth Huskies Baseball Club is excited to announce the return of second basemen and shortstop Lance Ford. Ford had a great first season with the Huskies in 2019 and looks forward to coming back with an even stronger 2020 season.
Lance Ford is a 5’9” second baseman and Junior at the University of Texas. His high school career speaks for itself as he’s a four-year letter winning and was named a Rawlings Perfect Game Preseason All-American as a senior. On top of the national recognition, he was also named All-District and All-State as a senior.
In his lone season with the Huskies, the Texan finished with a batting average of .240 over 44 games. He did produce 19 RBIs on nine extra-base hits with seven stolen bases. Ford dealt with injuries during his entire tenure in Duluth. He missed time with both an ankle injury and with an illness.
