A message from General Manager Greg Culver:
Another baseball season is in the books and although our goal to make the playoffs fell a little short, we can still celebrate many successes of the season. A few records were broken, runs were scored and if you paid close attention this team was electric and a blast to watch.
The team will refocus, regroup, and be back at it in 2024. That you can count on!
I’d also like to take this opportunity to say my goodbyes as this is my last season of baseball with the Duluth Huskies as your General Manager.
The last 9 years have been some of the best, most memorable moments in my life and it would not have happened without all of you.
From our coaches, players, interns, staff, sponsors, host families and of course the fans … Thank you!!
I hope that through our efforts, we are a team you can be proud of and support.
Our goal has always been to provide the community with the best caliber baseball we could, on and off the field. And, I think we accomplished this by bringing in so many talented and respectable players, coaches and interns.
From playoff runs to a few world series appearances, we were definitely a fun team to watch and cheer for!
I’d like to thank the Rosenzweig Family for the opportunity to prove myself day in and day out, and I hope I met any expectations the front office had for me. You gave me a once in a lifetime dream come true, and from the bottom of my heart, Thank You!
To my lovely wife Sarah, thank you for letting me be a kid again and live a dream. Without your support this wouldn’t have happened and I’m truly grateful to have you in my corner.
As most have often heard me say, “Once a Huskie, always a Huskie”. I can assure you I’m a Huskie to my core.
So, with that being said. Take care all and I’ll see you around at the ballpark!
Sincerely,
Greg
