Ryan Moede – General Manager
Ryan will be entering his second season as the General Manager of the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. During the past six seasons, he has worked as the Director of the Tickets with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Before joining the team, Ryan worked for the Sacramento River Cats (AAA – Oakland A’s) as a Ticket Sales Representative. He previously interned with the Milwaukee Brewers in their Corporate Marketing department. Ryan is a native of Algoma, WI and graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in Sport Management. Ryan currently lives in Oshkosh with his wife, Amanda and daughter, Larkin.
Chris Ward – Director of Tickets
Chris is in his second season as the Director of Tickets for the Dock Spiders. Chris graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Marketing. While at ISU, he assisted their athletic department with promotions and marketing. During the last two summers, Chris interned for two two baseball teams, the Schaumburg Boomers and the Missoula Osprey. Chris is looking forward to assisting companies and fans set up ticket packages and group outings for the 2017 season!
Chris Adams – Food and Beverage Director/Corporate Partnerships
Chris is entering his first season as the Food and Beverage Director/Corporate Partnerships. During the Dock Spiders inaugural season, Chris was the food and beverage intern. In his role, Chris will oversee the food and beverage operation at the ballpark as well as work with companies and individuals on setting up group, season ticket, and marketing initiatives. Chris graduated from UW-Stout and currently lives in Fond du Lac.
Rob Zerjav – President
2017 marked Rob’s 22nd season in Minor League Baseball, all with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. A native of Green Bay, WI, Rob graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 1993 and received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1997. Rob currently servesas the President of both the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.
Rob began his career with the Timber Rattlers that as an unpaid intern before joining the full time staff as a group sales representative immediately following his internship. After two years in group sales, Rob was promoted to Director of Baseball Operations and then to Vice President of Baseball Operations. During the 2002 season, at the age of 27, Rob was named interim President and General Manager and was officially named to the position that fall. In 2004, Rob was recognized as UW-Whitewater’s Outstanding Recent Alumni and in 2007 Rob was named Midwest League Executive of the Year, and then once again in 2012. Rob resides in De Pere with his wife, Nikki and their sons Cooper and Davis.
Hilary Bauer – Director of Marketing
Hilary just completed her fifth season with the Timber Rattlers. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and started working in baseball during the summer of 2010 as a Marketing Intern with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the Northwoods League. Bauer spent the summer of 2012 as a Corporate Marketing Intern with the Milwaukee Brewers. She will work with the media partners of the Timber Rattlers and Fond du Lac Baseball to plan marketing strategies for both teams.
Cathy Spanbauer – Controller
Cathy is in her 23rd season with the Timber Rattlers, as she started her career in Minor League Baseball in 1995 when the Appleton Foxes became the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. A graduate of Moraine Park Technical College, Cathy began her accounting career in 1987 with the regional public accounting firm of Schumaker, Romenesko & Associates, now known as Baker Tilly, located in Appleton. During her 5 years at SR&A, she was promoted to Supervisor of Accounting Services and oversaw a department of 10 people which provided accounting services for small businesses.
In 1992, she left SR&A and with her husband, Ed, started a new venture in Oshkosh by establishing Originals Antique Mall. Together they ran the antique mall for 2 ½ years until they had their first child, Eddie. They sold the mall and she returned to work for SR&A on a part-time basis until the opportunity to work for the Timber Rattlers came along.
Cathy will oversee all accounting for the both the Timber Rattlers and Fond du Lac Baseball.
Cathy lives on Lake Winnebago in Fond du Lac with her husband and three children, Eddie, Kylie & Jaysen. She loves to travel, watch her children in their sporting and dancing events and of course, loves to go boating.
Ryan Cunniff – Corporate Marketing Manager
Ryan is in his eighth season with the Timber Rattlers as the Corporate Marketing Manager and second with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. He works with businesses in both the Appleton and Fond du Lac communities to help activate their brands. He previously worked as the Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Ticket Sales for the Green Bay Blizzard Arena Football Team from 2007-2009. Prior to working in Arena Football, Ryan was the Clubhouse Manager for the Missoula Osprey Baseball Team, a Rookie League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ryan graduated from Saint Norbert College with a degree in Communication and after 4 years of service in the United States Army stationed in Alaska, he and his wife Jennifer moved back to Wisconsin where they currently reside in Kaukauna. Ryan is a native of Great Falls, MT and enjoys playing hockey for the Green Bay Deacons, fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his family and friends.
Seth Merrill – Corporate Marketing Manager
Seth is in his seventh season with the Timber Rattlers and first working with Dock Spiders serving corporate partners. Originally from New London, Wisconsin, Seth graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While at Oshkosh, Seth took part in the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando Florida. Seth currently resides in Neenah with his wife Hilary and son Navin
