Rob Zerjav – President

2021 marks Rob’s 25th season in Minor League Baseball, all with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rob received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  He began his career with the Timber Rattlers as an unpaid intern before joining the full-time staff as a group sales representative.  After two years in group ticket sales, Rob was promoted to Director of Baseball Operations and then to Vice President of Baseball Operations.  Following the 2002 season, he was promoted to Team President and General Manager.  In 2004, Rob was recognized as UW-Whitewater’s Outstanding Recent Alumni and has been recognized as the Midwest League Executive of the Year three times – in 2007, 2012, and 2018.

Rob was instrumental in bringing a Northwoods League baseball team to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and has served as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Team President since their inception in 2017.  The team has seen much success in their short existence and was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Marian University Business and Industry Awards in 2017.  The team captured their first league title the next season in only their second year of existence and repeated as league champion in 2020.

Rob resides in De Pere, Wisconsin, with his wife, Nikki, and their sons Cooper and Davis.

 

Jim Misudek – General Manager

Jim will begin his 16th season in baseball in 2022 after completing 14 years with Major League organizations. Most recently, he spent six seasons as the Senior Manager, Baseball Communications with the Baltimore Orioles. Jim’s primary responsibilities included the creation of daily press notes, drafting press releases, producing the club’s annual media guide, arranging interviews for players and staff, coordinating press conferences and press box operations, while serving as a primary media contact for the club in Baltimore, throughout Spring Training, and on team road trips during the season. Prior to joining the Orioles front office, he spent five seasons with the Atlanta Braves as Media Relations Coordinator, one year as an intern with the Cincinnati Reds media relations department, and two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2007, Jim served an intern in the Brewers media relations department and 2008 was spent as a sales representative while assisting with media relations duties. He also assisted Major League Baseball and the Brewers media relations department with their 2008 Postseason appearance.

As a native of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, graduate of University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac (Class of 2004), and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Jim began his baseball career as an intern with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2006. He resides in Fond du Lac with his wife, Jessica.

 

Tate Tranel – Assistant General Manager

Tate entering his first full season after having interned with the Dock Spiders during the 2021 season. Tate graduated from Northern Illinois University in May of 2021 with a degree in Communications and Sports Management. During his time at NIU, Tate was Video Coaching manager for their football team and worked for NIU Media Productions. Recently having moved to Fond du Lac, Tate is excited to get to know the city better, work with companies around the area, and help the community enjoy some baseball!

 

Teague Nadolski – Assistant General Manager

Teague is entering his first full season with the Dock Spiders after serving as the team’s Stadium Operations Intern in 2019. Prior to the Dock Spiders, Teague worked at International Sports Management as a Senior Account Executive and with the Wisconsin Herd as a Game Day Operations Intern. Originally from Mayville, Wisconsin, Teague graduated from Marian University in 2020 with a degree in Sports & Recreation Management. In his free time, Teague can be found golfing, vacationing, and watching or attending other Wisconsin sporting events. Teague is excited to get back to Fond du Lac and bring the community together for the best entertainment in Fond du Lac!

 

Hilary Bauer – Director of Marketing

Hilary just completed her sixth season with the Timber Rattlers. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and started working in baseball during the summer of 2010 as a Marketing Intern with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the Northwoods League. Bauer spent the summer of 2012 as a Corporate Marketing Intern with the Milwaukee Brewers. She will work with the media partners of the Timber Rattlers and Fond du Lac Baseball to plan marketing strategies for both teams.

 

Ryan Cunniff – Corporate Marketing Manager

Ryan is in his 11th season with the Timber Rattlers as the Corporate Marketing Manager and fifth with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. He works with businesses in both the Appleton and Fond du Lac communities to help activate their brands.  He previously worked as the Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Ticket Sales for the Green Bay Blizzard Arena Football Team from 2007-2009. Prior to working in Arena Football, Ryan was the Clubhouse Manager for the Missoula Osprey Baseball Team, a Rookie League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Ryan graduated from Saint Norbert College with a degree in Communication and after 4 years of service in the United States Army stationed in Alaska, he and his wife Jennifer moved back to Wisconsin where they currently reside in Kaukauna. Ryan is a native of Great Falls, Montana and enjoys playing hockey for the Green Bay Deacons, fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his family and friends.

 

Seth Merrill – Corporate Marketing Manager

Seth is in his tenth season with the Timber Rattlers and second working with Dock Spiders serving corporate partners. Originally from New London, Seth graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While at Oshkosh, Seth took part in the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando Florida. Seth currently resides in Neenah with his wife Hilary and son Navin.

 

Jay Gruszinski – Merchandise Manager

Jay has been with the Timber Rattlers organization since 1998, and has been a member of the front office staff since 2006. During his time with the team, Jay has worked on the parking crew, interned with the Group Sales Department, worked in the Ticket Office, and ran the team’s website. He is now the Merchandise Director, the team’s official scorer, and also is in charge of all of the computer systems at the ballpark.  Jay will be entering his fifth season of working with the Dock Spiders team store and merchandise ordering.  The Denmark, Wisconsin native is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a Sport Management Emphasis.
