Ryan Moede – Vice President
Ryan will be entering his fifth season with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders and second as Vice President after spending the previous three seasons as General Manager. During the past six seasons, he has worked as the Director of the Tickets with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Before joining the team, Ryan worked for the Sacramento River Cats (AAA – Oakland A’s) as a Ticket Sales Representative. He previously interned with the Milwaukee Brewers in their Corporate Marketing department. Ryan is a native of Algoma and graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in Sport Management. Ryan currently lives in Oshkosh with his wife, Amanda, and daughter, Larkin.
Chris Ward – General Manager
Chris just finished his fourth season with the Dock Spiders and was recently promoted to General Manager. Chris graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Marketing. While at ISU, he assisted their athletic department with promotions and marketing. Prior to that, Chris interned for two baseball teams, the Schaumburg Boomers and the Missoula Osprey. Chris is looking forward to working with companies to help grow their businesses via sponsorship, season tickets, and group outings at the ballpark.
Marcus Wiegert – Assistant General Manager
Marcus joins the Dock Spiders after spending eight years at Marian University. While at Marian, Wiegert worked in a variety of different areas on-campus including information technology, undergraduate admissions and athletics. Most recently, in the athletic department he helped lead the men’s and women’s tennis programs along with assisting the men’s basketball program.
A native of Deerbrook, Wiegert was a 2008 graduate of Marian University with a degree in sport and recreation management and a minor in information technology. In August of 2016, Wiegert earned his master’s degree in Sports Management from Lasell College. He and his wife, Nicole, currently reside in Fond du Lac.
Noelle Clarke – Ticket Director
Noelle joins the Dock Spiders organization after spending the past two years with ROC Ventures (owners of the Milwaukee Wave indoor professional soccer team, Milwaukee Milkmen and Kokomo Jackrabbits). She was the Senior Manager of Ticket Sales & Service working closely with Milwaukee Wave season ticket holders and youth soccer teams.
A native of Menomonee Falls, Noelle graduated from North Central University (MN) in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. She completed her master’s degree in Sport Management from Cardinal Stritch University in 2016. Noelle resides in Cedarburg with her husband Ben and son Macs.
Rob Zerjav – President
2020 marks Rob’s 24th season in Minor League Baseball, all with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rob received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He began his career with the Timber Rattlers as an unpaid intern before joining the full-time staff as a group sales representative. After two years in group ticket sales, Rob was promoted to Director of Baseball Operations and then to Vice President of Baseball Operations. Following the 2002 season, he was promoted to Team President and General Manager. In 2004, Rob was recognized as UW-Whitewater’s Outstanding Recent Alumni and has been recognized as the Midwest League Executive of the Year three times – in 2007, 2012, and 2018.
Rob was instrumental in bringing a Northwoods League baseball team to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and has served as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Team President since their inception in 2017. The team has seen much success in their short existence and was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Marian University Business and Industry Awards in 2017. The team captured their first league title the next season in only their second year of existence and repeated as league champion in 2020.
Rob resides in De Pere, Wisconsin with his wife, Nikki, and their sons Cooper and Davis.
Hilary Bauer – Director of Marketing
Hilary just completed her sixth season with the Timber Rattlers. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and started working in baseball during the summer of 2010 as a Marketing Intern with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the Northwoods League. Bauer spent the summer of 2012 as a Corporate Marketing Intern with the Milwaukee Brewers. She will work with the media partners of the Timber Rattlers and Fond du Lac Baseball to plan marketing strategies for both teams.
Ryan Cunniff – Corporate Marketing Manager
Ryan is in his 11th season with the Timber Rattlers as the Corporate Marketing Manager and fifth with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. He works with businesses in both the Appleton and Fond du Lac communities to help activate their brands. He previously worked as the Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Ticket Sales for the Green Bay Blizzard Arena Football Team from 2007-2009. Prior to working in Arena Football, Ryan was the Clubhouse Manager for the Missoula Osprey Baseball Team, a Rookie League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ryan graduated from Saint Norbert College with a degree in Communication and after 4 years of service in the United States Army stationed in Alaska, he and his wife Jennifer moved back to Wisconsin where they currently reside in Kaukauna. Ryan is a native of Great Falls, Montana and enjoys playing hockey for the Green Bay Deacons, fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his family and friends.
Seth Merrill – Corporate Marketing Manager
Seth is in his tenth season with the Timber Rattlers and second working with Dock Spiders serving corporate partners. Originally from New London, Seth graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While at Oshkosh, Seth took part in the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando Florida. Seth currently resides in Neenah with his wife Hilary and son Navin.
Jay Grusznski – Merchandise Director
Jay has been with the Timber Rattlers organization since 1998, and has been a member of the front office staff since 2006. During his time with the team, Jay has worked on the parking crew, interned with the Group Sales Department, worked in the Ticket Office, and ran the team’s website. He is now the Merchandise Director, the team’s official scorer, and also is in charge of all of the computer systems at the ballpark. Jay will be entering his third season of working with the Dock Spiders team store and merchandise ordering. The Denmark, Wisconsin native is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a Sport Management Emphasis.
