Wisconsin Rapids, WI–  The Green Bay Booyah fell in heartbreaking fashion in the second game of a double header with Wisconsin Rapids, losing 2-1 in game two after falling 7-0 in game one.

 

In the first game of the day, Green Bay was shutout for third time this season, first time ever in back to back games. For the Booyah, Jack Mahoney earned the loss, giving up five total earned runs in just over three innings of work. At the plate, Cooper Morrison picked up his first hit of the season in a Booyah uniform.

 

In game two, Green Bay scored first in the second inning off of an error along the infield on a Mike Ruggiero chopper to the left side. On the air mailed throw, Jarrett Ford scored from second, giving Green Bay their first run of the day. The Booyah did not score again.

 

On the mound, Garrett Martin was stellar again for Green Bay. Martin pitched four and a third, allowing only two hits and lowering his ERA to 2.66. Out of the bullpen, Dave Rajeski picked up his first loss of the season, after going an inning and two-thirds and allowing a walk-off home run.

 

The Booyah pick up again against Wisconsin Rapids tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. in Capital Credit Union Park. Will Saxton returns to the mound for Green Bay, looking for his second win of the year.
