Two of the Growlers’ most energetic and impactful games right at the start: our annual Education Day Games on Wednesday, May 28th, and Thursday, May 29th, 2025.

These games are more than just fun; they’re fantastic learning experiences outside the classroom. Students enjoy the thrill of the game, explore our interactive STEM fair throughout the concourse, and receive lunch – all part of a memorable field trip.

Homer Stryker Field turns into the most exciting ‘school’ with thousands of students at the ballpark. They’re learning hands-on STEM projects and exhibits from local businesses, getting lunch together as a classroom and then enjoying the Growlers game and in-game entertainment.

On April 15th, we launched a giveaway for one lucky school to win a complimentary field trip. The response has been absolutely staggering.

In less than 24 hours, we’ve heard from over 150 schools representing more than 25,000 students who are eager to attend!

While our team is thrilled by the enthusiasm, many submissions shared heartfelt stories about why attending isn’t usually possible – primarily due to school budget cuts and financial limitations for schools.

This overwhelming demand presents an incredible opportunity. We have approximately 2,000 tickets remaining for these Education Day games, and we want to extend the spirit of the giveaway.

We believe we can select deserving schools from the overwhelming number of entries and invite 2,000 qualifying students to experience this special day, who otherwise couldn’t.

Every dollar donated goes directly to giving kids a free & educational experience at Homer Stryker Field.

Your support will directly provide tickets, lunch, and access to the STEM fair for children from schools facing financial barriers.
