The Kalamazoo Growlers & Comerica Bank partner to host a food drive to benefit the South Michigan Food Bank.

Fans who bring 6 non-perishable food items will receive a free Growlers bucket hat.

A max of 4 hats per car (24 cans) will be be given.

The Growlers Food Drive powered by Comerica Bank will start at 9am on Friday, July 25 at Homer Stryker Field. Fans can arrive and line up in the parking lot beginning as early as 8:30am.

According to the nonprofit, Feeding America INC., there has been a “tremendous increase of people visiting food banks” since the beginning of COVID-19.

In fact, in just the beginning of the pandemic, 4 in 10 visitors to food banks were visiting for the very first time.

The Growlers & Comerica Bank are on a mission to make a difference in our community and help others in need.

We want to thank the community for participating and making the greater-Kalamazoo area a better place to live for all residents.

When you donate 6 non-perishable food items, we’ll give you a free bucket hat with our brand new wordfont logo on it.

There are only 500 bucket hats available. We encourage fans to arrive early to secure a bucket hat. These are only available while supplies last.
