KALAMAZOO, MI- The Growlers closed out a seven day homestand with a nail biting triumph against Travesre City 7-6. Dylan Freeman collected the win on the mound for KZoo to improve his record to 4-0 this summer. Connor Charping shined in his last game as a Growlers, totaling 3 RBI with a 2-5 line at the plate. Eamon Hoerwedel collect the save for KZoo earning a strikout to end the game in the top of the ninth.

The Growlers record improves to 23-15 with the win as they now sit four games clear of the chase pack in the division in the overall season standings. A long four game road trip begins in Green Bay for Kalamazoo follwed by a trip to take on the Woodchucks in Wausau.
