Growlers Unveil 2024 Championship Rings

The 2024 Championship rings were crafted with meticulous attention to detail by Southern Recognition.

• Championship Year: “2024” engraved to commemorate this historic achievement.

• Front Inscription: “Northwoods League Champions” prominently displayed with a dazzling mix of blue and silver replica diamonds.

• Inside Inscription: “1:23am Stay Together” – a poignant reminder of the thrilling 14-inning championship game that went into the early morning hours.

• Side Inscription: “The Zoo” (short for Kalamazoo) and “2024” alongside two flags to represent the Growlers’ two Northwoods League Championships (2022 and 2024).

The Northwoods League named the Kalamazoo Growlers the 2024 Organization of the Year.

The team won the NWL Championship for the second time in team history and ended the season with a 42-30 overall record in the regular season including winning 18 of the final 21 games.

Field Manager Cody Piechoki solidified himself as one of the top summer collegiate coaches in the country securing his 300th career win as a field manager.

Homer Stryker Field saw 85,063 fans come through the gates over 36 home games for a 2,363 average – near the top in the league.

Just 69 days after winning the championship, the team broke the NWL Championship trophy.

The baseball perched atop the trophy unexpectedly fell and shattered into two pieces.

While the physical trophy may be damaged, the memories and accomplishments of the 2024 season will forever be etched in the hearts of fans, players, and staff.

Our team remains committed to celebrating the historic achievement and building upon the success in the years to come with aspirations of adding new special events, new entertainment, new ballpark improvements and so much more.
