Kick off the best season of the year with our Summer Kick-Off Movie Night right here in Kalamazoo! We are transforming the baseball field into a giant outdoor cinema for a special screening of the ultimate classic, Field of Dreams.

Gather your family, round up your friends, and grab your favorite outdoor gear for a magical, memorable night under the stars. Best of all? This community event is 100% FREE!

🍿 Pre-Movie Fun & Snacks

The excitement starts the moment the gates open at 7:00 PM! Bring the whole crew early to enjoy:

  • Games: We’ll have awesome yard games set up on the grass to keep the kids (and kids at heart) entertained before showtime.
  • Snacks & Treats: A variety of delicious stadium snacks and concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
  • HCU Member Perk: Are you an Honor Credit Union (HCU) member? Just show your card or membership proof at the concession stand to receive a free popcorn to enjoy during the movie!

🧺 What to Bring: Make Yourself at Home!

To make the most of your evening on the field, we highly encourage everyone to bring their own lawn chairs, stadium seats, or cozy blankets to spread out on the outfield grass. Pick your perfect spot, unpack your camp, and get ready for the ultimate cozy movie experience.

Note: Outfield grass seating is first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive close to 7:00 PM to snag the best view of the big screen!

  • Free & Easy Parking: Don’t worry about digging for spare change—parking in our main lot is completely free and right next to the gates.
  • Mother Nature Policy: We love a clear summer night, but weather can be unpredictable! In the event of inclement weather, check our social media pages for rain date updates.
  • Perfect for All Ages: Whether you watched Field of Dreams back in 1989 or you’re introducing it to your kids for the very first time, this heartwarming movie is the perfect way to spend a family night out.
  • Stroller & Wagon Friendly: Feel free to pull the little ones across the field in your favorite wagon or stroller. We just ask that you help us keep our field beautiful by packing out whatever trash you bring in!
