Player Submission & Interest

The Northwoods League draws some of the top up-and-coming player talent from around the country and the Kalamazoo Growlers want FUN, energetic and hard-working baseball players to wear the pinstripes at Homer Stryker Field.

The team was created and joined the Northwoods League in 2013 and debuted in May 2024. Since then, the team has had several viral sensations including 6-year-old Coach Drake, the alternate identities like the Mac Daddies, the player shotgunning an energy drink after a home run, and the “Protect the Asset” clip that took over the internet.

The Kalamazoo Growlers have won the NWL Championship twice (2022, 2024) in six playoff appearances (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024).
