Kalamazoo, Mich. — June 1 is Eaton's Family Funday Sunday at Homer Styker Field, where the Kalamazoo Growlers take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 5:05. As part of Superhero/Supervillain Night, presented by Pure Green Lawn, kids 12 and under who wear costumes to the game receive a complimentary ticket. And I hear that a few real-life superheroes will be making an appearance in the second inning…

The first 500 fans to the game will also receive a drawstring backpack, presented by Crown Trophy.

The Growlers will take on the Rafters for the second time in as many days. Saturday's game ended in a 14-7 victory for the Growlers, with Nick Yarnall (Pittsburgh) going 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and earning Northwoods League Player of the Night honors. You can watch the game live at youtube.com/NorthwoodsLeague and follow along on Twitter @kzoogrowlers.
