Jordan Prado stole second base in the bottom of the tenth inning, but two costly errors on the play by the River Bats catcher and center fielder allowed Prado to score the winning run to end the game in the MoonDogs favor, 5-4, in front of 1,108 at "The Frank.”

Mankato jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after two innings of play, but the River Bats came back with three runs of their own in the top of the fifth to regain the lead, 4-3.

The slim one run lead quickly evaporated for the ‘Bats, as the MoonDogs tied the game at 4-4, when Aaron Grant scored an unearned run off of a Matt Falk ground out.

Kevin Dixon, who relieved starting pitcher Cole DeVries, kept the MoonDogs in by pitching 5 innings of shut-out baseball, allowing just two hits, walking one and striking out three.

Then in the tenth inning, Jordan Prado wheeled around the bases on the River Bats fifth and sixth error of the night.

The River Bats catcher had a game to forget, committing four errors.

For the MoonDogs, Aaron Grant finshed 2-4 with a run scored and a RBI. Dixon picked up his second win of the season.
